In order to fully prevent the radioactive contamination risk of food safety caused by the discharge of nuclear contaminated water of Fukushima, Japan, protect the health of Chinese consumers, and ensure the safety of imported food, the General Administration of Customs has decided to suspend the import of aquatic products (including edible aquatic animals) originating from Japan starting from Aug 24, 2023.
